What the HIIG Impact AI Fellowship
HIIG built a research project called Impact AI. It developed the Impact AI Method. This is a structured and complete way to judge what an AI system does to people society and the environment. The project works with Greenpeace Germany and Economy for the Common Good.
As a fellow you learn the method and use it. You do a full AI impact assessment of one project. The work covers preparing and running interviews then analysing data and writing a final report. The goal is new evidence for the debate on AI for sustainability and the public interest.
You get close guidance from the Impact AI research team all the way through.
