Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine CSC Scholarship 2027: Funded Master’s in Chinese Medicine

Before you think about the subject think about the language. The Chinese Government Scholarship High Level Postgraduate Program at Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine gives you a funded master’s degree in China. But the courses are taught in Chinese. Most applicants need HSK Level 4 or higher. If you can meet that rule this is a strong route into traditional Chinese medicine or Chinese materia medica.

The call is open for the Shanxi University CSC Scholarship 2027 entry. The scholarship deadline is 15 March 2027.

Which Specialism To Choose

You choose one of two subject groups. This call funds master’s students only. Doctoral applicants are not part of this scholarship competition.

Pick your specialism before you write your study plan. Name the question you want to study. Then explain why this training fits your background.

Who Can Apply

You must meet all of these.

• You are not a Chinese citizen
• You are in good physical and mental health
• You hold a recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent with excellent results
• You are aged 18 to 35
• You meet the university’s academic and other admission rules
• You have HSK Level 4 or above unless you are exempt

If you earned a Chinese taught degree at a Chinese university you do not need to submit an HSK certificate. IELTS is not the language test asked for these programmes.

The call does not publish a grade conversion table. It also does not say that every bachelor’s subject is accepted. Check that your degree fits the programme you pick.

Documents You Need

• The CSC application form
• The information page of your passport
• Your highest qualification certificate with a notary stamp. If you have not graduated yet send an official certificate of expected graduation or enrolment
• Official transcripts with a stamp from your undergraduate study onward
• Valid HSK proof unless you are exempt
• A study plan of more than 1000 words in Chinese or English
• Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors
• The Foreigner Physical Examination Form
• A police clearance certificate

• After the general admission deadline: A separate and later window for general admission that does not extend the scholarship deadline

How To Apply

You must finish two submissions. One is the CSC application. The other is the university application.

1. Read the official 2027 scholarship notice from Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine.
2. Register on Campus China.
3. Choose Type B and use agency number 10809. Check that Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine appears.
4. Enter your chosen programme.
5. Upload clear copies of your documents.
6. Submit and download the CSC application form that the system makes.
7. Send your university application too. The 2027 general admission guide names sxtcm.at0086.cn/student as the online place to apply.
8. Use the scholarship deadline and not the later general admission deadline.
9. Follow the university instructions for any written test or interview.
